spots
I think the Torino promos started airing today, so I figure now's probably a good time to put them up on the site.

I think the creative services folks did a fine job dreaming these up and putting them together. All of my ideas for Geoff and I involved ninjas, lasers, and robot breakdancing - they told me that we just didn't have the time (or ninjas) to put make it happen.
Here's the three, 15 second spots in all their Quicktime majesty:
Torino 2006 - "truck" - Quicktime Mov [1mb]
Torino 2006 - "kids" - Quicktime Mov [1mb]
Torino 2006 - "pizza" - Quicktime Mov [1mb]

In case you didn't know: I'm the dork with the glasses that crashes into stuff. Also, I'f the clips don't work for you, I think we have a flash one that plays on on WYFF4.com

Hi there, long-time reader (well, a couple of months anyway), first-time commenter.
Entertaining spots. Looking forward to seeing them on channel 4
Silly Robot! You can't take your skis with you to Italy!
I'm glad they made your reporter look a little bit dumb too. Those were hella funny.
"Buon giorno!"
Very cool! Congrats on your newfound celebrity status!
NICE!!!
Have fun, Be safe.
Loved 'em, dude.
I can't imagine working for a TV station that let's you show the FUN side of your job.
My station is too hung up on being SERIOUS...HARD HITTING!!!!
I'm jealous.
Enjoy Italy.
As I was enjoying the spots, which were really good, I suddenly had a horrifying realization... that probably would have been me going! First, I miss the M&M Bowl and now this!
Actually, Italy is on the docket for later this year.
Holy crap man, it seems you spread from station to station spreading humor or something. Too bad your ideas with ninjas and robots didn't get through...
Whenever my friends had to do a video, I was ususally the ninja/retarded monster thing... You know, the things that take skills. Well, at least the ninja role requires skills that I have, I don't rightly know why they keep picking me for the mentally challenged creatures though...
Now that you've teased us, can you and Geoff put together a web-only promo featuring ninjas and lasers when you get back? It sounds too good to miss.
I smell an emmy....
That's my kind of research. Mangia!
Hahaha! At first I thought you were sitting next to a ticked-off Seinfeld!
I just saw one of the promos. Too funny! :D But... who's holding the camera?
