Here's a quick shot from the press center up on the mountain. It's a massive room with long rows of desks for print, internet, and radio media to do their work.

All the way down the line are ehternet cables and AC outlets. There's dudes cutting stuff in Final Cut Pro and uploading it right to the web, while other people work the phones and type like mad.
And, just so you know there's a room just like this but ten times larger in the main Torino press center.

LLR, I noticed the post is "ibc", but the place is called International Press Center. Is that a typo?
Bit, Just a note to say what a kick-ass job you're doing over there. You set a very high blog standard, my friend...
It was sorta a typo, so I changed it. The same buildings have like 3 or 4 names - it's weird - IBC, IPC, MMV, and MPC - all depending on who you ask.
Really weird.
I always wonder about rooms like that whether people are all leaning back in their chairs pretending to stretch or slowly walking around the room, trying to peek at what the other writers are doing. I'd have a hard time keeping my mind on my work in a place like that, but then I suppose they're used to it.
