drama
Marc Willis and I were out at the Governor's School today, interviewing drama students for our news feature. At one point, they left alone in the auditorium to shoot stand-up teases, so I tossed my camera to the intern and he took a few pics of our latest feature...

The photo might seem funny, but if you could actually hear how well we were singing, you'd probably want to rip your ears off and claw your eyes out. Needless to say: we're working on our pitch (also our storyline could use a little work).

Didn't Roxanne Rodriguez once say she wanted to burst into song in the newsroom in some manner like this?
Surely there are plenty of people who've considered putting the melodrama of the (local) news business on stage. With music. I know I have!
That's right! Yeah, Roxanne really wantd to make a newsroom musical, and Melinda and I have always kinda kept that dream alive.
However, Marc Willis and I are only concentrating our musical vision to the world of live shots.
Right now, I'm penning a classic tune (sung by the ENG truck operator) called, "Look Up and Live!" It' sure to be a classic.
