Thursday our station sponsored a big shred-a-thon event, with live shot locations in several towns. I shot live reports all day from Asheville, NC. No matter how hard I tried, no one was fooled when I attempted to disguise the WXII truck to look like one of ours.

weekend stuff:
1. I want a strawberry Kit Kat...now. I find myself browsing by the candy aisle in stores quite often, searching for what's certain-to-be my new favorite treat. But, unfortunately it hasn't been released here yet.
2. Despite all the negative reviews, I went to the DaVinci Code this weekend. You know, I wouldn't want the 50 kabillion dollars that Sony spent on marketing to go to waste. I liked it. There were some goofy moments and it was little too churchy for me at times, but I thought it was pretty decent. Can't wait for DaVinci Code 2 (you know it's going to happen).

No way man - it will be "Rembrandt Code", then "Monet Code", then "Picasso Code", then "Dali Code", then "Warhol Code" then "Peter Max Code"....
I actually got a lemon creme Kit Kat the other day here in Thailand. It was pretty good. And of course, we have the white chocolate ones too.
It's strange because we got Pepsi Latte and some other stuff before you, but I can't get a decent box of American cereal here (it's all Euro-muesli-crap).
I saw it too and I also thought it wasn't too bad. Of course I liked the book better but you know...
As far as Da Vinci Code 2 I think Da Vinci Code is actually the second one. If anything they'll release Angels and Demons as a "prequel" which although it's not related to Da Vinci Code it does involve Tom Hank's character and takes place before the Da Vinci Code does.
Yeah. I figured Angels and Demons would be coming out, but I predict that this is going the way of Silence of the Lambs.
There was two books, and then the author writes a third, more sequel-ish book - which everyone hates.
It
ll be a while though. Although, I'm sure writing a DaVinci book has way more thought and research than, dreamin up news way for Hannibal Lecter to eat people.

We got the white Kit Kats and some other weird Kit Kat, but they haven't gotten to the fruit flavored ones yet.
Conversations heard while exiting the theater:
"I don't get it... so are they trying to say Amelie is Jesus?"
"So did this take place before or after Dogma?"
"Did Tom Hanks figure out how to decode stuff hanging out on that island with Wilson?"
"Wait... I thought DaVanci was the bad guy?"
"Damn... I totally thought this was the sequel to Mona Lisa Smile."
