dancebot!
Driving home from Atlanta this weekend, I reluctantly pulled-over at a truck stop to fuel-up on diesel and drink caffeine. While I was walking around the store in a daze, I strolled past the ubiquitous aisle filled with Nascar merchandise and civil war memorabilia. My eyes scanned past dozens of porcelain confederate soldiers, and were preternaturally drawn to the end of the aisle - where I found the most out-of-place item:
The Rock'N Robot!

Like most robot toys, the Rock'N Robot is manufactured in China. But, what sets this guy apart from all the rest of his emotionless robot-communist friends is what's branded right there on the package: "Everyone will go nuts over him!" and "Watch him bust a move!"
But, rather then sit here and try to describe the robot's rump-shaking to you, I decided to YouTube (is that a verb now?) a little video of me trying to make it dance.
As you can see, it only "busts a move" for around 2-10 seconds at a time. But, I'llreluctantly gladly add him to my growing collection of dancing robots.

Why is that so funny? I'm laughing my ass off every time you bang it on its head.
That is hysterical, I'm not sure what funnier the robot's reluctance to dance, or you pounding it.
Classic, LLR!
lmao- tears from laughing at you pounding his head
I'm glad someone else out there in the universe owns one of these. I found mine at a funky toy shop here in Chicago, and they sold out quick as I discover when I decided to get some for gifts. I learned my lesson, the next time I see toy robots that break it down ol' school like this, I need to buy an army of them.
Best $6.95 you've ever spent!!!
LMAO
(I'm making up a price, but you probably figured that out already, what with the dripping sarcasm.)
Some WD-40 to his joints will make him boogie down much better.
That's effing hilarious! I feel sorry for the little guy in your care though... You looked like the drunken southern uncle smacking him around. :(
Still funny... :P
Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots went for $10 bucks on Ebay. AWESOME!
