Wiped Out

It's a low-key Saturday. Eliza woke up early demanding to watch Blues
Clues. She's been obsessed with that show. She can now finish the
weird guy's sentences. Today she picked out a new stuffed dog - the
one she's clutching here - which looks kinda like Blue.
Anyway, we went for a yummy lunch. Eliza had hot & sour soup, spring
rolls, honey chicken and dessert. Good eater!
Then we hit Costco. She was knocked out on the way home. Costco is
quite exhausting.
You'll notice that she's got her purple sunglasses on again. She likes
just wearing them on her forehead.

Whenever we leave the house, Eliza wants to take a baby doll with her.
Fortunately she has a lot of 'em because she leaves them all over the
place - the cars, school, etc. She likes hugging and kissing her
babies. Today she snuggled this one all the way to school.

We ate dim sum at GiGi's recently and Eliza really liked the patio furniture. It was like having her own little kid house to hang out in.

She picked out these glasses yesterday at Gap and loves wearing them.

Eliza is the bravest little girl

Today E had her first visit to the dentist, and it went rather well. Extremely well, actually.

Mommy and Daddy have beenpreparing and "playing dentist' with her, so when she got into the chair this morning, it was all a breeze. She liked the little vacuum tube (and all the positive attention). The hygiene staff was blown away by how accommodating and pleasant Eliza behaved on her first visit.

Someone is being naughty

Eliza spent the weekend being really sweet, and then when we weren't looking, she'd put her toys in the potty. This baby was the most recent victim. Before that: a stuffed doll and some of the play food from her kitchen.

Eliza likes the swing, but especially enjoys the slide. Although today
she was swinging on the monkey bars. A real daredevil.
