Lion Cub Out in the Wild
Here's Little Lion Eliza as she stalks the urban tundra, hunting for Cheerios and Soy Milk. Lucky for this photographer, she's an herbivore.

Here's Eliza, all dressed up in her costume. She was kinda fidgety when we tried it on her in Target a few weeks back, but she loved wearing it this evening (and didn't even mind the make-up).
Here's Eliza in her Halloween Day outfit, as she roams around the house looking for treats. Tonight she'll be changing into her special costume! You'll have to check back for all the photos later...
Daddy and E braved the crazy crowds to participate in Texas early voting last night. The lines into and through the polling place rivaled any popular Disneyland ride, and reminded us of the post-Thanksgiving checkout lines in Best Buy and Target.
Daddy placed the votes, and Eliza got to push the big, red button at the end. Since cameras weren't allowed inside, we snapped this photo outside, away from all the chanting people passing out flyers and begging for our votes. This little baby's opinion can't be swayed anyway.
Eliza needed a place to stretch out while Daddy unpacks boxes nearby, so he built her a little fortress to call her own.

Eliza got a lot of attention during her visit to Oregon, and on Monday morning she almost reached her threshold for being loved on. Moments later, she decided that she enjoyed being the center of attention and was ready more hugs and snuggles.
Eliza had a great time checking out her horsey toy at Grammy Lew's house. Little does she know that it belonged to her Mommy, and that she played on it when she was the same age!
Eliza got a fabulous new hat, and she got to spend a lot of quality time with Uncle Jake and Aunt Karey in downtown PDX on Sunday. We didn't even need to take a stroller, since there were so many people willing to carry this cute kid around.
In addition to meeting all her cute cousins in Springfield and Portland, Eliza got to meet one of her favorite online pals, Charlotte. And the new mommies posed for this photo, showing off their cuties. (It kinda looks like E is working on the Vulcan greeting that Daddy showed her when they were watching Star Trek last month)
Eliza love giving people kisses, and you never know when she's gonna lean forward and lay on one right on your face Well, she got a surprise of her own when Jaydn sneaked in and planted on on her!
JL and Tater swapped their cute babies so that each of the kids could finally meet their uncles. Moments later, Nathan (7 months) and Eliza got to know each other as they rolled around on the floor, sharing toys.
On occassion, E would watch over Daddy and the movers to make sure they were doing a good job getting her toys and crib off the truck. She was a real taskmaster.

People love Eliza's new pumpkin pictures, so we decided to release some exclusive "behind-the-scenes" footage from the photo shoot. In this video, E show us the process involved in picking out just the right pumpkin.
Okay, Daddy and E had so much fun in the pumpkin patch that they begged Mommy to go back again today for another photo shoot! We think Eliza should get a modeling contract with Baby Gap after this session, but at the very least she was rewarded with her own mini pumpkin - which she promptly tried to stuff into her entire mouth.
Here's a link to the new "Eliza's Pumpkin Patch" photo gallery (here's the link to the other one, as well).
There's the pink hat again! Eliza is taming the wild buckin' punkin's out on the grassy plain.
Eliza has a wonderful, new cowgirl hat - compliments of baby Charlotte. She loves wearing it, and it seems to go cute with everything she wears.
She loves her coasters, so I lured her across the living room with one. She's getting pretty good at this!
Eliza is now officially a full-on crawler. To prove it for you all, I enticed her into showing off her new crawly skills with one of the things we never let her play with: the TV remote.
We had a great time (and awesome seats) at the Texans vs. Colts game today. It was the perfect treat for E for growing up and turning 10 months old this past week.
I think she was a good luck charm for the Texans because they were doing great right up until the moment we left - and then the game unraveled for them at the end of the 4th quarter.
Eliza had a great time watching the game, especially when it was time to clap and cheer. She sat there looking around, waving at people, and clapping at each first down.
Daddy is sporting our new baby transporter, and Eliza is enjoying the ride. She loved the snug ride, and waved to people everywhere we went.
Being blinded by her insanely cute smile, it may be difficult to zero in on Eliza's new teeth. But they're there...just peeking out, ready to shoot up. They might be tiny, little nubs, but they're really sharp and she loves biting everything - including Mommy and Daddy's fingers.
These days, all the time is peek-a-boo time in our house. Eliza will be playing with you, and then out of nowhere...a game of peek-a-boo starts. Even at 2am while changing her diapers.
